Jessie Munson

My name is Jessie Munson and I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I study American politics focusing predominantly on political institutions and representation. More specifically, I seek to better understand how legislators handle competing incentives in order to serve their constituents and be reelected.

I graduated from the Montana State University with a BA in political science with a minor in history in 2019. Prior to graduate school, I worked as a committee assistant in the Washington State Legislature.
